is a 15-year-old keyboard and guitar playing vocalist who plays a wide variety of contemporary and classic compositions.

 

Monique also writes and performs

The Jumptown Jammers is the performance troupe of the not-for-profit swing dance school Jumptown Swing.

 

These enthusiastic and talented dancers showcase vintage jazz dances from the

1920s-1940s, specialising in Lindy Hop,

Charleston and authentic jazz.

The Jammers' displays are energetic and uplifting - appealing to young and old!

MC Pony writes & performs hip hop,

delighting & educating audiences with her trademark "mindful rhymes for kinder times".

 

MC Pony performs material that raises awareness about animal rights,

environmental and social justice issues,

and is fun, upbeat, and entertaining.

 

It's activism with a smile!

12:45-1:45pm

Hope Street is a Canberra band

writing, composing and performing

original music.

 

They describe their music and songs as 'classical pop – carnival groove'.

 

With Sara Vancea on piano &  vocals,
Michael Patrick Monaghan on bass guitar & vocals, and Clayton McDonald on drums.

2:00-2:45pm

Emaline Delapaix is an Australian singer, composer and musician who lives in Berlin.

 

Emaline writes intense folk pop for piano, acoustic guitar, and celtic harp.

 

Emaline's lyrics explore the human condition and thought provoking topics such as depression, animal rights, feminism, sexuality as well as love, ​nature​ and adventure out on the open road​​.

2:45-3:30pm

Petrichor is a local 4-piece

jazz band, consisting of an

alto sax, drums, guitar and bass.

 

The band's repertoire is a mix of classical jazz and the players' interpretation of modern songs.
